How did we come up with the name Rose Apple Press?

We knew that the rose and the apple are New York State’s official state flower and fruit. Then we learned that the in Buddhism, the rose apple - a variety of apple - symbolizes innocence, the simple joys of childhood, nurturing, and the potential for spiritual awakening in seemingly ordinary moments. As a publisher of children’s fiction created to bring joy, nurture the minds of young readers, and help them find moments of magic in their day, we knew we had our name!
